  • assets/

  • css/

  • js/

  • other website files

Do not leave index.html buried inside another folder.

Connecting your domain

A domain and website hosting are two different things.

For example:

Domain: mybusiness.com

Website hosting: stores and serves your website files.

After publishing your website, your hosting platform will give you instructions for connecting your domain.

DNS changes can sometimes take time to become active.

HTTPS/SSL

After connecting your domain, enable HTTPS/SSL through your hosting or deployment provider.

Your website should eventually open using:

https://yourdomain.com

Important:

This purchase includes the website files.

Unless specifically stated on the product page, domain registration and paid hosting are not included.

Free hosting options may provide a free platform URL, but a custom domain such as yourbusiness.com normally requires owning/registering that domain.

This website does not require WordPress if the supplied ZIP is a standard HTML/CSS/JavaScript website.

If you experience an installation problem, first check that index.html is located in the correct website root folder.
